I just finished up writing my novel. It was one of the most challenging books I've wrote...because it's about a woman, and I just so happened to nor be one... yes I checked. Also, everything was done independently. From writing, editing, and design, and my eyes are killing me.
Anyway for those who will, or anyone interested please check out Diane’s Girl over on Amazon. Love or hate it, i appreciate you taking a look(avaliable kdp and hardcover).
Thanks,
Eddie
1960: Follow along the journey of Anna Mae Ford. Born in the countryside of Marks, Mississippi, Anna Mae is raised by her grandmother, Mae. God fearing, tough; instilling values in Anna Mae so she grows to be a proper woman. Values that would soon be tainted by her mother, Diane Ford. Breath-taking as the Northern Lights, deadly as the manchineel. On her annual visits to the farm, Diane teaches Anna Mae how to use her "gift". A power every woman has to control a man; the power to get what she wanted out of life. When she catches wind of this, Mae forbids Anna Mae from taking after her mother, and warns her of the destruction soon follow. When Mae falls ill, Diane is forced to take on Anna Mae. The two then set out on a journey across the country. A journey where she seeks to help Anna Mae find her purpose. A journey where she instills Anna Mae with values. Values she believes will help Anna Mae survive. Values that will ultimately change the course of her life...forever.
