bad habit?

so i like to give my little russian a treat now and then, and i hand feed him the treat. is hand feeding a russian or any tort a bad idea? can it cause a bad habit of bitting?
any opinion will help :]

Hand feeding every once in a while should not be an issue. I think if you hand feed every day you would take the chance of them refusing to eat unless they are are hand feed.
