My little constellation all get their soaks around 4:00 in the afternoon: 90-95 degrees for about 30 min.
As I'm pretty sure everyone knows, this is for hydration as well as eliciting pooping so they poop in the soak water that gets discarded instead of pooping all around their enclosure.
Quinn is my best soak pooper: he always poops once and often twice!
Iggy is also a good pooper: always once and occasionally twice! But he's also my escape artist- I'm going to have to get him a tub with higher sides...
Cory is much more laid back than the other two. She never tries to get out of her soak- she just stretches out and enjoys it! But without all the exercise trying to get out, she has NEVER pooped in her soak. So of course I sometimes find teeny tiny tortoise turds around the enclosure!
