It seems like every hydrometer thermometer I buy on Amazon is just cheap junk and breaks after a couple months. Anyone have a go to favorite on Amazon.

I use smart sensors (TP-Link Tapo, cheaper version without a display) - a couple of years in 90-95% humidity enclosures and still no issues. A model with an E-Ink display still works mostly fine but display is unreadable (tortoise knocked it off in a water dish a couple of times).

You can get cheap sensors with external probes - similar to this one: https://www.trixie.de/en/productwor...ote-sensor-1001436039-1001458902?itemNo=76114 I have this one too and it works like a charm.

I got the Govee WiFi hygrometer. It was about $35 but I can check the temp from anywhere. And i can set alerts for any temp I choose so i know when it’s too hot/cold. The Bluetooth one I had previously used only worked when I was near her burrow.

I’ve used Govee and ThermPro and I like the ThermPro better. The more expensive Govee has given me issues, while none on the ThermPros have had an issue. I have the regular ones and the Bluetooth ones:

On Prime day these we $12 each.

Which model do you use? I have one set of Govee and they are not helpful. I think I got the small sensors without display and very limited range. I was not confident with what I was buying... :(

I I believe we can connect these to the app as well. They’re 11 bucks right now @ND135

I have to offer my extremely pleased opinion about Yolink products. They're on Amazon and have a website. Their temp/humidity sensors are extremely well built. Buy their hub and download the app and you can monitor everything on your phone. The hub links to the devices using a special radiowave that allows 1/4 mile connectivity - so outdoor enclosures or beehives (in my case) can be monitored. I also use their power outlets and the app allows you to set them in relation to sunrise and sunset so my inside animals get a naturally changing photoperiod/day length.
I did alot of research before settling on this brand and it has worked amazingly.
