Where do you think the best place in the US is to keep Russians outdoors year-round?
South Florida, southern California, areas of Texas or Hawaii
I think South Florida without a doubt for most tortoises.
Very true lolMy torts don’t like huracains!
Are these places to such as Florida and Hawaii to wet for russians?South Florida, southern California, areas of Texas or Hawaii
Heck yeah! We're dry and hot, but get our Monsoon season every fall (brings higher humidity), and it rarely snows in the winter in the southern part. Not to forget an endless supply of weeds spineless prickly pear cactus in the desert. What about AZ ?

AZ outdoor is too dry? Humidity is importantWhat about AZ ?
AZ has periods of very heavy humidity during the annual monsoon. And humidity is not as important for adults as it is for babies. I raise and breed Russians in Arizona, along a few other folks.AZ outdoor is too dry? Humidity is important
