Hello donatello keeps biting his leg. Is this normal? He's litterally biting his leg as if he's trying to eat it. :s

No. Not normal. What sort of lighting and heating are you using?

Strange behavior.

Is there food or anything stuck on his leg? Is he biting it in between bites of real food?

I don't know why they do it.. But I have caught my adults bitting the spurs on there legs quite a few times..... It's not a constant thing but I have caught all of them doing it one time or another....

Maybe it feels itchy there. It shouldn't be a big problem if it's not persistant.
