I like the theme too, but I also love the dinner plate! :)

Looks like you won the battle against pyramiding.

He's not that behind on his weight. Mazuri 2-3 times week will definitely help. Mine will be 1 year old in 2 days and he weighed 600 grams yesterday. Your sulcata is a smooth as you can get:). Mine has very minor pyramiding I'm hoping will fade as he continues to grow :(

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I'll keep up the mazuri. 600 grams is a good weight! I'm sure with a small amount of pyramiding you won't be able to tell later on.

I hope he isn't in too much pain from the urate stones. Do you think they formed because of too much of one particular food?
I don't think so. I feed him mulberry leafs, grass, tuxedo mix, cactus pads, different weeds, grape leafs, geranium leafs, hibiscus leafs, etc. He gets a very wide range. And I try to soak him two times a day, morning and evening. The only thing i can think of is he was having really gritty urates about a month ago and when I stop his power supplements, calcium and a mineral supplement, they turned smooth again. I was giving 1-2 a week but I must have been giving too much. These stones might be left over from that. I hope he passes them soon.

Oh, good to note. Never want to offer too many vitamins or supplements. ;) Sounds like he has a great diet!! I like the plants you offer. :) You should see some photos of my garden; I have a lot of those plants in it: http://www.tortoiseforum.org/thread...-russian-tortoise-enclosure-and-garden.92343/
