There are no guarantees with any tortoises, but russians especially are known to be hit or miss in this regard. Some people do everything "right" and never get eggs or babies. Other people do everything "wrong" and have immediate success. I don't know what it is about russians, but they can be difficult sometimes. It might take years for them to settle in and give you babies.

Thanks that’s fine by me I don’t need to get babies or anything just thought it would be cool
