Burrow?

Do redfoots dig burrows to sleep in like russians do ?
my tiago digs a really lil bit in the garden but do they dig burrows in captivity like russians do and most of the 'lost' threads are russians when they dig a burrow and cover thereselves up will a redfoot do the same?

Hi Tyler:

I provide a hiding place for the two RF that I'm babysitting, so they go into the hiding place and don't dig a burrow. I have some YF tortoises that I've had for several years. I find them under bushes, but I've never seen them dig a burrow.

okay thanks mine does sleep in a log hide but never attempts in building a burrow.

They snuggle into soft substrates, and will dig themselves just deep enough to cover up sometimes, but they do not actually burrow. Their legs are not shaped the same way that the true diggers are and if they dug in most of their habitat, the holes would just flood.
