Thanks for doing the research that I should have done. He's eaten some and I know he didn't act quite right. In fact, my sister made me find a big enough tub to soak him and it went like this, I get the tub, fill it up some, put it in the sun to warm up the water, and when it's ready I make Big Sam follow me over to the tub, I take a big breath, stretch my muscles and oof I heft him up legs failing and drop him into the tub. Mistake, his body fit exactly, only his head was all the way out and smooshed up against the tub with his carapace cutting off his head at the neck....oh holy cats!!! I sorta neglected to mention that he's 60+ lbs now, and I'm a weak old lady, so I grab him in different places pulling and he is stuck in the damn tub, with his head being cut off. Oh hell, I know this is a better reality tv than I've been watching lately. I need to fix this fast...I sit in the mud and push my feet up under the rim and push with everything I had. And up, up oh lord up help and over he goes like a Tiddly Wink. So now the tub (hard blk rubber) is upside down with Sam stuck in it. But what strength I had was gone and I couldn't flip it back. Sam is stuck in it. Oh what to do??? I can sense him struggling inside. But I sure can't lift it now...oh geez. There are times that I am very grateful that Sulcata are such bulldozers. He uses his strength and got loose. I'm thinking I'll fill the water hole next time...garden.org says toxic:

Good. I'm glad I didn't waste a good storyOmg! I picturing all that in my head haha i literally laughed out loud
You are so freakin observant...he was on his back, very undignified for him and way scary for me. He's not easy to flip over anymore.Maggie, I think you better be very careful around Sam tomorrow. He is not going to let this indignity go.
When he dropped out of the overturned tub he would have been on his back. So humiliating!
Be careful. Very careful. ?
