What i know is that cactus has a laxative effect and can cause diarrhea if given everyday.

I wouldn't feed them every day. They are rich in calcium, but also high in oxalates. Its one of those things that we don't felly understand. With the exception of grass or grass hay for sulcatas and SA leopards, there really isn't ANY food that I'd want to feed every day.

Also, I think I read somewhere that it is high in calcium, but also high in oxalic acid. This is why I feed it once a week.
