Calcium dislike!!

My tortoise will not eat anything with calcium powder on it or cuttle fish,
Would It work if I was to add a bit to his soaks? Any help would b appreciated

Then you are using too much. You only take a small pinch between your thumb and index finger and sprinkle it over the food. Then mix it up so it evenly covers all the food and is more or less invisible.

They won't eat it if they smell, taste, or see the powder. Try a little less. Some torts just don't like cuttle bones... mine refuses to eat his, but doesn't care about the powder!

Yes, the strong smell will put them off. In this case less is prob. better.

Many tortoises ignore the cuttlebone for a long time, then suddenly eat it. They don't need it every day. So, as others suggested, cut back on the powder or eliminate it, but leave the cuttlebone in there. Sometimes they prefer them grungy.

Well after leaving the cuttle fish in there for 2 months I decided to get a new 1 for him and now he's eating it at last :)
