Can noise affect tort sleep

Hi,

Is it possible that noise can affect tortoises sleep? I know they can’t hear like we can but the thing is that I have my tv in the room just next to the tort room and it can get pretty loud.

Does this disturb them? they sleep buried aswell.

All creatures can be stressed by excessive noise and disturbance and tortoises are no exception. I doubt a tv in the next room would cause any problems... and I suspect your neighbours would be complaining as well if it was extremely loud!

Haha, I was watching “saving private Ryan” the other night when that thought came in to my head. I shall turn the tv down a tad just in case.
