Just wondered if there is a guide for sulcata tortoises? I know of the McIntyre ratio for horsfields and the Jackson ratio but obviously sullys r up there with the big boys and would be nice to have a ROUGH guide (I know they all grow differently).
My 9 month old seems to be really beefing up and piling on the weight, he has never had any store bought stuff, I'm determined to keep him organic lol since I got him young I thought it was the perfect opportunity to start out with the right foods. He eats grass every day with a few weeds each day with calcium too. Raising him in a closed chamber to try and keep him looking good, he has uvb and heat lamps and bathed daily.
I have 4 horsfields but he is my first sully, I know they grow big and fast just got a little worried the other day when I seen how light people's hatchlings were in comparison.
He is always hungry lol and he still fits in my hand! Am i right in thinking as long as he is eating the right foods and getting everything else he needs there is no cause for concern?
