I know the shell looks like a Yellowfoots, but the head and legs look pure Redfoot. I'd need to see the plastron to be sure, but it's probably just a Redfoot. :p

The tortoise is that ad is just an old redfoot. Their shells tend to become yellowish as they get worn down and the underlying yellow color shows through.
There are always a few really old redfoots that come in with large shipments and sadly it seems that there are always those trying to pass them off as hybrids or hypos or something other than what they are. But they are just old.

Tom how old is that RF? I've never seen any tort so smooth.

I have no idea how old that girl is but she looked that way when I got her from Pet Farm some 25 or 30 years ago. I seem to have misplaced her bill of sale!
She makes beautiful babies!

I wouldn't go so far as saying yes in this instance---I don't know the seller and he could just be ignorant.
But there have been others who have knowingly tried to be deceptive.

Seems fishy to me. Can you D.N.A. test a red-foot? I know at work we can test dog's D.N.A. to see what they're mixed with.
