Check this pond out!

I was taking a little stroll during my lunch at work...low and behold I find this man made pond one block away from my job in Cerritos CA.

I've worked here 3 years and didn't even know it was there!

I thought this was pretty neat.

Looks like it has a large amount of turtles. How did you happen across it after all this time?

Well, I don't really take walks in that direction. So I decided to do a little exploring

exactly! even the little babies (which I should have taken more pictures of) didn't even flinch when I walked by...they had their heads up held high basking on the rock

That was the only one I saw in there.

Unless the others were a lot smaller and not as colorful

The ice just cleared on my pond, but it'll be awhile until I see turtles basking. They all flee in terror at the sight of me.
