Chicken poop

I have a small sulcata tortoise when he gets bigger he will be going outside but I have a pond in the backyard that attracts Canadian geese ducks and I also have chickens pooping in the yard will bird poop harm my tortoise

That's how tortoise become infested with parasites. Afterall, they have to eat the pooped on grass - not a very appetising prospect. In the wild, animals are not contained in a small area like they are in our backyard.

Have a secure area in the yard that the geese, predators etc can't get in. It will reduce the risk of your tort ingesting parasites as well as the risk of escape

Hello, I know how geese and ducks poop ....and chicken too. Often and much .
It is like @Yvonne G said: Not very appetizing for a tort to eat this gras.
Another point is that chicken, geese, ducks and wild birds have many and several bacterias in their poop. These bacterias could make a tortoise sick.
