This redfoots eyes are closed and look swollen. Any idea of cause?

This is a 1 to 2 year old. Normal long tube uvb, temps in the mid 80s, and cage mate is fine.

Poor girl! Sounds like your temps are ok. And what kind of bulbs are you using? I see long UVB but no coils bulbs, right? Hope you can resolve the issue. :)

Warm soaks with carrots from gerber or any other baby food brand can help. Definitely won't harm any, but can be a temporary fix until you figure out why this is occurring. Double check all your temps, humidity levels, etc...

Both have been together for 6 months so I can't see any reason to separate. Also not a uri as nose is clear and no labored breathing. Why the baby food soaks? Tortoise eats fine.

It may help with the swollen eyes. As to them being together for 6 months and being fine, they should still be removed until you know what the problem is. It could be bullying, tortoises show symptoms slowly. So it might have taken 6 months for signs to show up.
