Clove oil & thyme oil on lawn?

Hi - I want to bring my Hermann hatchling over to my spend time in my friend's lawn regularly to get outdoor time. I asked her if her lawn was treated with pesticides and she told me that it is treated with organic, natural clove oil & thyme oil. Is this ok and safe for my Hermann? Thanks!

How the heck do you treat a lawn with clove and thyme oil, and what is that supposed to do?

I have no idea if that is safe or not. I wouldn't put my tortoise there. I'd make my own outdoor space for my tortoise without the hippy stuff.
