I have a lot of woolly thyme in my yard and was wonder if I can plant it in my Russian tort outdoor enclosure? Is it safe? I can find thyme on the tort table but not woolly thyme. It would make a nice soft ground cover for her to walk on.

Any type of thyme is fine.

Even though it’s a ground cover, I’m not sure how well it would hold up to constant trampling, I suppose it would depend on the size of the enclosure.

Thyme is a scrubby little plant, similar to what she lived on before she was taken so it might feel familiar to her; a good choice if it works out.
