The COUNTRY was pregnant. Come on guys, I'm trying the Nostrodamas trick of writing "clues" w/o breaking rules and or upsetting anyone....but this is a tough room that doesn't make it easy! LOL

The deer was laying down in the gap in the trees in the pic. She remained there while they cut up the tree out front too!

We are so lucky to have found our Nook as the animals are all half-tame here. We saw a large Red Tailed Hawk down at the water yesterday on our bike ride. We don't see them often here. They are much larger than the more abundant White Tail Hawks, just magnificent. I've learned a new respect for Hawks....they are the Ferraris of the woods!
Ok I have no clue H👀's having a baby boy.🦉

Well it was either a fire cracker I heard today or a gun down the street. For once I'm glad to think it was probably a fire cracker. I still haven't figured out why they're celebrating. It's only TGIF day.! 😁 And I'm retired.💤😎

We alongside the UK used to celebrate Armistice day as well, on the 11th....till we changed it to "Veterans day" in the 80's I think.

Thank you Y....for everything. I would never try to fool you. I just like having fun.

No worries guys, you will never see me run nor accept ANY public office.....that would entail someone learning my past. More skeletons there than at Our Lady of the Redeemer cemetery! Shhh!

Sorry you didn't win though Ray.....apparently I could have shipped you 11 million votes from imagined friends and no one in the media would have thought it odd. At least they didn't last time.

We had the duct cleaner here yesterday. 3 hrs later he was done. He does excellent work...maybe i will be less congested now. I also installed more insulation in my shed. I almost have enough to compete the walls but with the roof and half the walls done, it should be able to be heated with a small heater. I will try an electric heater this morning but I'll probably get a small diesel heater later.

Oh, Kerry saw Rocky racoon yesterday evening...so neighbor moved but Rocky still lives in the house's soffit. Lol

Good morning/afternoon all. It's a bit colder here today, but still mild for November, and I don't know what's happened to the wind lately - not that I'm complaining but it's weird that it's been quiet for so long.
I'm not up to much today, but hope you're all having a good day.

Last year I got a red doberman pup, Spring. She's MUCHO, MUCHO hyper. And I am NOT!! So to peel off some of that energy, after I've taken care of the tortoises, Spring and I walk laps around one section of the pasture. ... or rather I walk, she badoinks, leaps and gallops. I think it takes four or five, maybe more, laps around that particular section to make a mile. But i'm not so interested in MY miles as I am in getting it all out of Spring's system. She runs from one end to the other, back and forth, barking at birds, cars driving by, invisible things and people, and just has the time of her life! She'll be two this December. Please tell me all that energy will start to dissipate soon!

I've read that it takes 2-3 years for a lot of dogs to settle down. That was for Shih Tzu but I think it was for larger breeds also. They are puppies longer so it makes sense.
