My grandma had it done and she said that her life became brighter and more colorful. The change might be surprising, since you get so used to it. Though I wonder how you could become more colorful!

Yeah but the pond is a full enclosure that can be added onto if she grows after 7 years of being stunted by her previous owners, but yes it is outdoors

Unfortunately I can't really comment on the pumping and filtering system. If you don't get enough answers on this thread, maybe post on the water turtle section to ask about the pumps.

How deep would the pond be?
Sorry if it already says this, but what substrate are you going to use in the pond?

One thing I can advice on, is to think about how the sun moves over your yard when picking a spot for the enclosure. This way you can ensure thermo regulation by making sure there is enough sun for basking.
