For those who switch clocks, do you adjust your tortoises timers accordingly?
Matt leads a "hard knock" life. He got so used to me waking at 1 or 2am that he was already coming out of his pond outside at 630 this morning. I moved him outside yesterday for the summer.

I had forgotten that I'd put him out and was wondering this morning as i stood drinking coffee by the sliding door outside..."hmmm, I haven't heard Matt yet...oh sh*t". Lol

He's tough...

Crossed the bridge to go to the park with my youngest this morning....good times. One of the painted turtles I stocked the pond with years ago is HUGE now! I'll bet he is nearly a foot long! Pretty cool to see a couple that were very distinctive. One has a white shell. He's a yellow so he used to be green and 7" long. Then for some reason his shell turned white. We saw him too this morning. Neat!

Have you tried typing 'scutes lifting' in the search facility? There are several threads about it. If you can't find it jaizei is very good at finding old posts so maybe he can help.
Thank you so very much Lyn!!!
I will try looking that up.
I tried before but couldn’t get the wording correct. I’ll use your words instead.
Again, thank you!!!! 🙏

@Lyn W….Heeeeellppp!!!!
I looked those threads you mentioned up and they are all about tortoise scutes lifting.
This one was specific to a red eared sliders scutes. They are in water all of the time.
My little one’s scutes are lifting a bit and I am worried what I am doing wrong?
She has a heater in her water a filter and slugge remover stuff.
What makes their shells almost like lift???
I can’t find the thread and it’s out there!!!😫
I just wanted to know what she was told to do about it. Before it gets worse I want to fix my problem. Thanks in advance to all who can help. 😘😘😘😘😘😘

I meant lighting/heating timers, but I guess not many of you have indoor setups...
I have 2 outside sulcata's. I don't adjust the heat and there is no lighting in the enclosures. This week I took out the Kane mat's. I will adjust the temperature lower for the summer.

Good morning all. It's another beautiful day here. Yesterday was lovely too and Lola was super active. He was in and out of the garden all day. He had a lovely long bask and a good graze on his grass. He was one really happy tort!
I hope everyone else is lucky with the weather too.
