I'm still celebratingHappy Birthday![]()
Yes to all of that. I was going to call my doctor today but I didn't. I told my vets office that I would be there if I had to crawl when they told me they needed 24 hours notice to cancel. But I got a great birthday present. The dizziness left when I stopped the nasal spray and I woke up Sunday morning weak but no spinning room. They need to listen to me. I can't do steroids. While I was laying there Saturday to Sunday morning I looked out to see the beautiful full moon. And got to lazy to deal with a squad or to call for help from anyone. I figured they might misdiagnose me again also. I just prayed. I'll call my doctor tomorrow and I might get fired as a patient but I don't care. If he'll listen to me he might be able to help me if not he won't. He'll kill me instead. I've been through this too many times to not trust my body and instincts. If it happens again make sure you see your doctor Cathie. It could be the shingles in your ear is affecting you, but unexplained dizziness can also be a little known sign of a stroke (especially if accompanied by headaches which hopefully you don't have). You don't have to have all the common better known symptoms. I just watched that on TV this morning - I wouldn't have associated it with a stroke before.
Better safe than sorry.
I found out that here in the US it wasn't visible but I got to see the beautiful full moon. It was called of all things the corn moonGood morning everyone!
Did anyone see the eclipse?

How's Alfie doing? Mr Fre got to play with his favorite friend Willow today. She's a cutie. A little bishon morkie.I'm dog sitting this week so I'm waiting for Alfie to arrive. I'm looking forward to some nice country walks with him. I hope everyone here is having a peaceful Sunday.

Oh Jeff wish I could go whale watching. Kerry is so lucky. Cathie and Ray I hope you two feel a bit better soon. Lyn the new neighbour seems very nice but he now has issues with the noisy neighbours. I feel sorry for him because he thought he was getting away from dodgy neighbours. We are leaving Bar Harbor today after we take Kerry out Whale Watching in the Atlantic. We walked to Bar island last night during low tide. It really goes out too! This is where we stayed in Bar Harbor.

Pretty neat place but we are headed to Lubek Maine after the Whale Watching boat ride, the closest point in the USA to Africa AND the Easternmost point of the USA. Just kinda neat to go do it and it's only a couple hours North. We will stay a night there, maybe longer. It all works out...i inquired here yesterday about extending our stay but they would have had to move us to another room so we bagged the idea and decided to go to Lubek instead.
God MS Cathie...cant i go on vac without you acting up? Ray too....stop it guys and behave yourselves. Stop all the hurting and not feeling well.
Let me the throw this out there for you guys.
Hey BIG guy...look out for my friends ok? Thanks bud
Alfie is great thanks Cathie. We had a nice long walk today and he wore himself out chasing his ball. He's been cwtched up to me all evening - he loves a tummy tickle! How's Alfie doing? Mr Fre got to play with his favorite friend Willow today. She's a cutie. A little bishon morkie.

I finally got a bad adorable picture of Mr Fre's cute little tongue but my son did it. Mr Fre loves a belly rub too and gets after my hand if I try to stop.Alfie is great thanks Cathie. Wow I'd love to see whales and a moose. I never thought of moose being where you are though. I always thought of them out in the north west. And I haven't given up on my doctor. I really like him. That's why I called him today. I don't want to lose him and I've only seen him once. When I told him what I've been going through he told me I should ask for a refundThe whale trip proved wonderful for Kerry. I am thrilled that she got to spend time watching a couple pods.
kerry was seasick before 5 miles to sea. She moved to the stern for the trip out. After she was sick, the whales made her forget and she mounted a Wonder woman like comeback to be able to enjoy the day.

I only took a couple phone pics. Most are on the little camera and Kerry got some great video that we will post later.

The sheer size and quite nature of these guys is truly something to behold. Kinda like looking over the Grand Canyon...but they move! LOL
We came up to Lubec this evening, we will be here at least a couple days we decided. No rushing.
I'm glad that the world is no longer spinning out out control MS Cathie. It's a tough call when to break with your Drs ideas. He is only working with the whole of his knowledge base about you. You kick his butt in the advantage you have there BUT he also has years of overall experience with others so it's usually not wise to discount them completely.
I hope you are feeling at least a little better too Ray.
Tomorrow we might go out to see The Old Sow. This is a whirlpool phenomenon that never ends because of the tides.
It's second in size only to the great maelstrom whirlpool in Norway. Cool right?...look it up.
There's also a super state park w\lighthouse so that's neat too.
Ya'll know what i really want to see??? A Moose! I do....its on my bucket list so we just might go track one down before we leave.
I have seen moose, but only crossing the road! They do cause some accidents here, especially when a mother crosses the road first and then the calf follows later. The whale trip proved wonderful for Kerry. I am thrilled that she got to spend time watching a couple pods.

Dear Cathie,Sapphire is doing pretty good after his beak trim. He was watching from inside his little hut this morning as usual when I brought him breakfast. He didn't clean it all up but I give him a huge handful of salad. If there's a little left I've done my job right. He was out and about in his indoor enclosure despite an injection and sleep for the beak trim. So he got outside most of the afternoon. His vet said come back in six months for the rest. .we'll see. I didn't want to do the injection but it was that or possible starvation if his beak becomes worse. He absolutely wouldn't let her get ahold of his little head. Razberri did pretty good too. She got her nails done in about 5 minutes by the vet herself. I don't even know if it took 5 minutes. I was impressed. She also got her tear ducts flushed and is back to trying to steal dog food from Mr Fre. All's right in the world. I did call my doctor and of course the nurse tried to tell me that I just had vertigo from my ear. And it's not the nasal spray. However I still have vertigo but I no longer see the room spinning around even sitting down so stopping something did something good.... she's supposed to call sometime soon. We'll see about that too. Tomorrow is another day. Yeah![]()
A long time ago, when Richard's parents were still alive, we went to Canada, where they lived, and his dad lent us his car (a great honour !) so that Richard could take me to see places he knew from when he lived there too. We went to Algonquin Park, where he used to teach sailing, and I saw a moose for the first time ! !I have seen moose, but only crossing the road! They do cause some accidents here, especially when a mother crosses the road first and then the calf follows later.
