Oh Natrah, that is such a beautiful necklace for Daisy.....Thank you for sharing....Good afternoon everyone!
The concert went well despite myself and the conductor having colds and one of the second violins having to take a break due to feeling under par. Here I am with Daisy's necklaceand Tiramisu Cheesecake:

I ADORE that story every time you tell it Angie!!!One year, a tiny and very young toad appeared outside our kitchen door - it was extremely cold weather, and we didn't think it would survive, so we brought it in -fortunately we discovered that it ate mealworms. and we already had lots of them always to feed the wild birds. We called him Bonus, and he grew much bigger and became very friendly. Here he is enjoying me reading to him......

Many years ago, when I started teaching infants, a little boy brought a toad to school to show us- his dad had found it on a building site - I thought it was a great name, and told the boy that
if ever I was lucky enough to have one, I would call it Bonus, too -and I did ! Our little chap lived for quite a while, and we thought he was wonderful.

I think mother nature might not hate me. The snow storm WEATHER ALERT scheduled for Monday has been cancelled. I get to go get my evinity shots with only an umbrella

Dear Marsha,Well, we have had warm weather for February/March. Last 4 days it has been in the low to High 70's (21 to 25c) I put the small Tortles out in the Tortle tub in the afternoon. One end has water, other larger end has bark and Hides. The Boxies and Matilda the Redfoot were in the mood for some meal worms, YUM! Matilda ate like 12, while the Boxies filled up on 8. Seymour climbedt the patio Barrier, and proceded to wander the yard. Found him later @ the back fence with the help of the tracker, dang that kid gets around.
Yes, so true!Dear Marsha,
At least he wasn't in with PeeWee who thinks he's a female!
Natrah
I got a dang blood blister when I was mixing the flour and chips in though. Boy was it worth it.This is my best medicine. A cookie jar of homemade cookies. These are chocolate chip.View attachment 398863

Just like OZ, the wicked witch of the west keeps coming back . . .I'll take care of you my pretties! ah, ha, ha, ha,Good afternoon everyone!
Every so often this very pretty lady Sulcata comes to see me. I know she likes me very much because she keeps coming back but I can't understand why Marsha keeps taking her away again!
I am very upset with Marsha!
PeeWee the Sulcata![]()
Dear Marsha,Just like OZ, the wicked witch of the west keeps coming back . . .I'll take care of you my pretties! ah, ha, ha, ha,
The barrier of my patio is about 6 or 7 " (300 to 325cm), it in front of a 8" (400cm) drop off (step down) I have an old scale 50# (22.5Kg) wight holding it in place, he has learned show to climb the weigh and ultimately tumbles over the "wall". unfortunately when that happens, he frequently ends up on his side thrashing trying to right himself, as was the cast yesterday. I helped him flip back over and he was off to explore. Last night at closing time, I went to look for him in hi usual resting spot in the yard, Nope, not there, So I had to get my phone with the tracker app, and I'll let you guess where I found him . . . sleeping 2' away from PeeWee in the chicken Pen. He once again pushed his way under the fence to be with his "Buddy". Must be in desperate need of attention....LOL
I think that is very touching - speaking as a chap with a very affectionate nature myself, I very much understand the need to be close to a loved one - in my case, I insist on actual physical proximity - if necessary using force !Just like OZ, the wicked witch of the west keeps coming back . . .I'll take care of you my pretties! ah, ha, ha, ha,

I wonder what Ms Sully and Opo think.I think that is very touching - speaking as a chap with a very affectionate nature myself, I very much understand the need to be close to a loved one - in my case, I insist on actual physical proximity - if necessary using force !
Zola !
I can't tell you that but I can tell you what Sapphire is thinking. He's trying to dig out of his indoor enclosure and eating bunches. He's chomping at the bit to go outside. Pretty soon he'll be begging. Sunday it's spring forward in our timezone and he knows itI wonder what Ms Sully and Opo think.
Does your daughter still do bunnys? Just wondering.he's a glutton for punishment....
My dad would say; "You gotta be tough if you're stupid". LOL
Not much tougher than a turtle/tort! If Matt is average, it amazes me they survived! He's not very bright.
We stayed in the place we got married Sun night for our anniversary on Monday. We went to dinner across the street and they even printed us special menus! It made us feel special which was pretty neat.

It's a nice tradition....and it's only 4 miles away! Sometimes it's good to change scenery and appreciate the good things like someone your cool with 24/7 or my youngest daughter calling she got a car on her own for the first time. It's a neat town with a lot of the nation's founding-fathers type history. At the B&B I sense "things"....like noise from a dozen different timelines but you can tell it's voices... but only in the ballroom we had our service in. It's all very positive vibes though so I don't freak over it. Prob just delusions anyway....lol.
We have a son in Cozumel Mx this week. Last week he was in San Ignacio in Belize exploring Mayan ruins and cave rafting. I know Kerry will sleep better when he's back home.
