For some reason, unknown to this computer illiterate, when I 'copy' the actual link in the address bar then 'paste' it in the post, instead of showing up as a link it shows up as the actual post. But if you click on it it actually takes you to the thread, just like the link would have.

Please go to the raffle post:

and take a look at the picture of the raffle prize. If this is something that would look good in your house, on your wall, buy some raffle tickets!

The raffle is only going on for another week, going to close on Aug. 31st. Don't miss out on the chance to own this beautiful work of art.
I am in the raffle!

I did have a bit of trouble at first but I finally found it and also Wilmington sent me the link. I can't remember how I finally found it. By the time I do that kind of stuff, I usually can't do it again.😭

Course it's going to look like rob johnson bought a couple tickets Y but hey, it's a good cause, right?
I use someone else's account......LOL I didn't look to see where the pic came from....hmm, maybe I'll go check that out.

You guys good with the links? I don't want to interrupt a Internet 1:01 class. lol

Pretty day out here, I put away my peat and lime...love it. For 35 bucks, they gather it at the store, load it, wrap it in plastic on a pallet and leave it in my driveway. I come home, lift garage door and move it in, 3 steps max. That is a value to me.

I'm waiting on Amazon to deliver some crickets. I was clued in that feeding my wild lizards mealworms exclusively prob isn't good for them even though they eat them like a puppy to kibbles.

Thank you Yvonne, for showing the picture. Not sure why your picture shows up, but the link does not work for me. But in any case, it's a beautiful piece of art!

I'm guessing those are sweet wafer biscuits that are served with ice cream sundaes.
A Mexican company I like has little, somewhat sweet, crispy tortillas I think would be nice also. I don't see a problem with my dinner being a ridiculous ice cream Sunday some evening 😋🤗

Hello Lynn W🤗😘
Hi Cathie and hello again to all other CDRers!
I've had yet another problem with my laptop - not charging this time - so I was without full use of my laptop for a while. When the charging lead was plugged in, it wasn't charging consistently and so I have had to ration my use. They have sent me a new lead which seems to have done the trick.
I'm pleased to see you're all still posting regularly which I hope means you're all well and surviving whatever the weather is throwing at you. I was so upset to see what has happened in Hawaii and hope none of our members have been affected. I know we used to have a regular visitor to the CDR from Honolulu so I hope she's OK.
The weather has continued to be pretty unsettled here all summer, with a fair bit of rain and temps not going much over 77F, but that is ideal for me. I think we have been very lucky compared to the rest of Europe. It's lovely to see the countryside looking so green and lush.
Lola still goes out most days and enjoys basking in between the showers.
I have another hedgehog visiting my garden so I have set up the hedgehog cafe/diner and managed to catch him on my camera trap last night. I'll post a pic when I've time but for now it's gone midnight and I have to head off to bed.
So enjoy the rest of your Tuesday and see you tomorrow. Nos Da!

That's big event Ray.....wow~! A little 'net searching...1.5mil folks, 40,000 cars!

So, after whining to Kerry about being poor from the cost of grass seed yesterday, I went downstairs while talking with her on the phone......then I told her that God doesn't think I'm poor enough yet. She askes "what?" "My water heater tank is leaking honey"
It's 10 years old, Kerry helped me replace it.....it cost 369 back then...gas, 50 gal, high rec. Today it is 900. ouch. Tell me it ends, someone tell me that the bleeding ends at some point, please? LOL

Discover may as well carry my mortgage, because I clear my card each month, I pay them more than the Mortgage company! Yikes, maybe I could get cash back???? LOL
When mine went I went with an on demand gas heater for the water line. Takes about 1 minute to get hot water BUT you can shower as long as you want and don't have to worry. Also uses less natural gas since it doesn't have a tank

I'm a plumber who looks at plumbing things all day and I really wrestled with a Tankless. I'm glad it's working out for you. We are seeing them more and more commercially as they get better, and cheaper.

In the old days, I would have called a vendor or two and one magically would have showed up at my door.......but they aren't allowed to do that anymore......I liked the "before time". I tried to go "grey-market"....for Gas water heaters-find a dealer in Ca or Or who has products he is no longer allowed to sell. I found one at $392 delivered......we'll see how it plays out....it's sounding like a o/l brokerage program....we'll see if someone answers the phone today. Discover covers me in these endeavors "so little or no risk to me" other than wasted time in the grey market arena. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I told Kerry last night "I've got a feeling a 650 water heater is coming to my house". I don't think I'll be able to avoid it.

I'm going to NY for Dad's 93rd BD party so I'll shut the H2O off before I leave. If I were Erie, I just wouldn't believe it was an accident. LOL
