The snow is beautiful here!

Since it was so nasty out and I was a bit sore, I kinda puttered throughout the day and by last night, I managed to get the rest of the supports up on the side wall and laid out the cuts for ten more wall supports. It was 6:30 last night, I wanted to cut the plywood shelves but I didn't want to be "that guy" running a circular saw outside, after dark, during the snow when the sound would carry to everyone around here! I will cut them in the morning.

Kerry went to bed with different socks on....hoping for a Snow day tomorrow!
I enjoy seeing snow here. We used to have a lot for Snow men and all kinds of fun. We got the cold but not much snow again darn it. I'm still waiting to get to see a beautiful snowfall this year..πŸ€—

It's 11F out this morning! THAT is cooooooooold for this area!!

Matilda has a wonderful and balmy 85F in her home, 96" away from 11F.
See, life is a game of inches!

I have a Dr Chiro appt this morning.....but even with all the work I'm doing in the garage, no migraines! That's a huge step in the right direction! By last year, I was triggering migraines with any appreciable level of work.
I'm hoping to "be done now", fixed......
I always thought the migraines were work/stress related and when I stopped working they would go away. OK, its time for that to happen now! LOL The first week here, I had a couple but none since....life it good, jeff is relaxing on the inside.

It was good to see Mark check in but where's Waldo, er, Ray?

Lyn, thanks for your support. I rarely have to take meds......and we don't have a big whirlpool here or I would have been in it......but the shower and some rest make a big difference. I'm still in one piece and I'm actually having fun working with wood....a first for me.

stay warm guys!

We had 8Β°f here in the backyard and 11Β°f in the front yard this morning. I'm getting sick of this already after days of it. With the wind the wind chills are -20f at times. I'm liable to get cabin feaver cause I ain't about to stick my nose out the door. Unless I'm desperate. I haven't done much outside for days now.

Sorry to hear that a friend passed M....but he was a musician...so he was a cool guy!

Ms Cathie's gonna go Bonzo? Find Utube vids...got to be something you like. I'll post a birdfeeder vid for you?

I found the "LFL"! No kidding....girls playing tackle football in "beachwear". I told Kerry about it last night & that from my point of view, what's not to like? I love tomboys, football, girl-sweat.....yeah, I'm pretty good! LOL She shakes her head, ruefully!

Anyway, progress in the garage yesterday.....superman showed up at 1pm and left at 5 but he got most of the rear wall done. Today is a rest day....I am SAS (sore as sh...). I keep saying that every other day too but I go out and "putter" and soon enough, I'm rocking and rolling! Maybe I shouldn't do a day's work (for me anyway) in 4 hrs and I wouldn't feel like I fell off my motorcycle each morning?

I have enough done that I can concentrate on putting my tools back in the box and I can begin "setting up shop" and figuring out a system. I have Car stuff, truck stuff, bike stuff, construction stuff, home electrical stuff, plumbing stuff, wall hanging stuff, window sealing stuff, hinges and hardware stuff, nails and screws stuff, nuts and bolts stuff, painting stuff.
I need a system! LOL

You were right BD, The screws were the right move, I can store engines on those shelves!

My new fav toy is my Mr Heater...10 minutes to bring it up to 50-55F!

Even yesterday......

I was talking with my son yesterday and learned something 🀣 come to find out the native American's cure meat a specific way. It's smoked at 1/4" or less thick and that's sooo brilliant. The reason is because flies can't lay eggs below 1/4". In all the years I've been reading I've never seen that fact. I love hate the net.😊

Promises promises πŸ™
Do you eat cheese with that?

You know, with the whining? LOL

I used Kerrys account to post, there are 3 so far....from yesterday I think. I think that once you get there, you can see all three

We are not getting married till March 2nd so you haven't missed anything.....and I'm usually pretty good about keeping promises, and making other do the same. I once made a "deal" with a guy on Craigslist.....he needed a permitable Plumbing drawing for a bathroom in his home, and I needed a granite countertop for my vanity.

I hounded him for 8 months....but the countertop is beautiful!!! LOL

Here is a Hawk who took a squirrel I used to shoot at with my slingshot(never got closer than 6")....he was so worried about me, he forgot to look up!

I took pics of the deer walking thru the yard but they are still on the camera.

I was outside the garage last night in the snow in the back yard burning one and I heard something approaching...step by step, inch by inch it came......I couldn't see a thing having been in the lit garage....

As it got closer, I leaned in the door and flipped on the light, my heart racing.....the big Doe looked at me, not 20 feet away.....was completely at ease as we chatted and she browsed...well, I chatted, she ate....then she just walked off......how cool is that?
