I also got into uni this year. I got my A level/high school results on 27.5. If you take a test to get to the university, the results come a bit later in the summer.

Me and Edward are moving to my university city next week! I am going to study cultural sciences with a little twist of futurology, this was my #1 program choice. We get the results early, thankfully, because there is a ton of apartment and job hunting before uni starts since on-campus living isn't really a thing here.

I am so happy for your nephew!
Good job! Hope you have a wonderful time and find a good living arrangement. That'll be so important.

Ok thanks, my neighbor said he likes Buffalo Trace and Blanton. Both made at Buffalo Trace distillery.
How do they compare with the bourbons you mentioned?
I don't know, never tried them. But I'll look for them and if they are sold in Virginia or Maryland I'll let you know.

I did a search on both of them and they are considered rare, mostly depending on online sales. The last time Bullalo Trace was offered in the Virginia ABC stores was April 2022. It sounds interesting with the different flavors in it.

Safe trip guys. We are looking at the Ark in Williamstown Ky on 1 leg of an upcoming vacation. So has the Barber motorcycle park but last we checked...a trip we have planned to see daughter in Fla next month has turned into a 2,800 mile, 1 month trip extending West to w/i 50 miles of the TX border and incorporating Skyline drive through to Virginia in early Oct! LOL So much to see and do!

We went for an early walk this morning after I slept till 5am. (Thank you lord)We did a few things around here afterwards. Kerry put the bins of Christmas stuff from my house up on the garage shelves. I'm pushing my shoulder more now that it doesn't wake me at night. I replaced the drive belt on the push mower and bolted a set of shelves for plumbing junk to the outside of my shed and installed the electrical package on Kerry's car for the trailer hitch. The hitch itself was a bridge too far for today....i was pretty sore but an hour later, it doesn't hurt. That's a good sign but i sure don't want to push too hard yet.

Glad to hear you are feeling better Ms Cathie....i got some of Maryland's finest Medical Grade "hemp"....I can get to you.
Tastes great, less filling!
I don't claim that it blocks pain...but it does make it so you won't care about it....LOL

Just teasing....mostly!

Good evening everyone!

This weekend an RAF Typhoon and a Lancaster Bomber will be using Southend Airport as a stopover before going to an airshow at Eastbourne. They will be flying from Southend in the afternoon and as it's my birthday I will be assuming that it's a flypast🤣🤣🤣.

I have rented an studio apartment, but finding one sure wasn't easy! Of course on criteria was to be able to bring my tortoise Edward with me.
That sounds like a nice apartment with a wonderful landlord. A great peaceful area to study.😊 and just be able to enjoy learning 🤗

Good afternoon/evening all. It's very late here but I can't sleep as it's still quite warm.

Alfie is with me for the weekend and we had a lovely walk along a canal this evening enjoying the sights and sounds including a heron who was concentrating so hard on hunting he didn't seem to notice how close we were.

I was surprised at how low the water is considering the rain we've had.

The great thing about dogs is that they certainly get you out and about and lots of other dog walkers stop and chat. If I didn't have Lola I'd have my own dog, but will make do with borrowing Alfie or Tilly for now.

I hope you all have a good weekend. Nos da for now.

On our way to Kenasaw Georgia. Great weather, no rain and no traffic.
Georgia is interesting. That's where I found out I couldn't understand plain English because of the southern drawl. 😁 I usually would drive straight through Atlanta also but timed it so there wouldn't be much traffic. It's silly though because there's an exit that always fools me about halfway through. I always take it because it's for passenger cars and wind up off the highway. Now I know that way better than the real way. All you have to do though is go off and turn right. And you're able to get back on but you're through Atlanta. 🙃I still don't understand that.😁. I don't remember where Kenasaw is. I hope Rose is feeling better and the two of you are having a nice trip home.
