Wow, so many tornados slamming central & eastern Florida. Some not too far away from Ray.

Haven't seen Rocky today but don't worry, if I do have to capture him, his only ordeal will be "learning the food routes" at a new home.

Mr Fre went beautifully today. He only needed one incision and the vet was saying it could be up to three. The biggest miracle was that he was probably trying to charm the pants off of everyone in there and they said he didAw Cathie you have a lot to deal with at the moment. I hope it all goes well for Mr Fre, and especially for you. Happy birthday to the bunny too.

My sister is having either an MRI or CT scan today. So hoping that goes ok. She's almost 200 miles away but I have offered to go up to get Alfie so that they don't have to worry about him. Or Lola and I could go to stay for a while if it helps, but she has a daughter living close so maybe I'd just be in the way. Hopefully the scan will show something easily treatable.
The car has been fixed and it was a lot cheaper than I was expecting, I'll take it for a run later to make sure it's ok.

We had a few close calls with the tornadoes. One was about 10 miles west. The other desapated before it got here. Been very uneventful considering we were on the dirty side of the storm. Got some very heavy rain and a couple spurts of winds at 50mph. The last 3 hrs winds are shifting SW. At this time virtually no wind or rain. Let's see what the backside of the storm brings.
I'm just wondering about why Rocky would have to leave. Is he being a nuisance? I can see why people wouldn't want raccoons but I also kinda like them. They are America's Panda Bear at least to me.

It was a CT scan that she had, Cathie. It has to be looked at by a specialist which will take a few days so they sent her home with some new meds to lower BP and raise potassium. No diagnosis confirmed yet. I hope she looks after herself and takes it easy now, but she can be a nightmare when it comes to self care.Hopefully your sister has CT scan. 11:30 pm no rain but winds have really picked up. Wind still coming out of the SE. That is the best direction for our home. Between 6amto 8am should get us thru the worst. 4 am to 5am should be the worst.

Don't relocate him, get a rapid fire paint ball gun and make him multi colored. He'll get the point real quick. And relocate himself. It worked here in the beach.

Oh yeah, when it gets down to -30 during the winter my dad miraculously quickly cleans up the garage to fit the car in!Jeff remember how cluttered my garage was?
A quick fix for that is to have a hurricane headed your way. It's amazing how we found places for everything. So we could get the van inside the garage.

We have had a wind warning here for a few days... Because some of the bursts of wind can reach over 15 m/s or 34 mph... smh
During the summer (1.5.-31.10) the warnings are:
Yellow warning: over 15 m/s or 34 mph
Orange warning: over 20 m/s or 45 mph
Red warning: over 25 m/s or 56 mph
This warnings are given up to 5 days in advance and don't let me get to the official recommendations...

Wow Ray! Kerry got up at 2am with me (cause she's nice like that) and she's surprised too! That wasn't a small job to make room for the van I saw in the driveway. Good for you guys! Still got power??
That's a great idea Len! Rocky used to live in our soffit above the dormer. He moved across the street when we had it repaired. She is moving now so the owners will likely repair the opening before they rent it. I don't want Rocky climbing our gutters again...it takes everything good inside to keep me from doing him fatal harm when woken by that sound...then we get to hear him methodically tear at our home until he rips through something. No, it's best for Rocky to move on since he can't seperate his space from ours.
