Cathie, awhile back I made a joke about sign language. It wasn't mean but none the less it was a joke. I didn't realize Joe uses sign language. I am sorry if I was insensitive.
It wasn't. What is Joe supposed to do around people that can't use sign with him? That's most people. He likes signing and what I call our bad game of charades. 🙃 And if all else fails just write it in plain English. He said he had to go veto. I was dying laughing.🤗

Good morning all. Apart from low mist making it a bit damp, it's still pretty quiet here weatherwise, and too warm!

I'm glad bonfire night is over, but there'll probably still be more fireworks to come over the next week or so on. In Holland they only sell fireworks on the day they are to be used - which used to be just New Years Eve and they are banned at other times. I wish they would do that here. I know I sound like a party pooper but having them for weeks on end at all time of day and night is annoying!

I have a few chores to catch up on after spending so much time around the construction site, so I'd better get on.
Have a good day.
I don't like all the fireworks either. So I'm a party pooper right along with you. I have to shut the windows to fresh air because my animals get frightened by the noise. It's just silly to celebrate freedom with bomb noises.

I have a conundrum...i love fireworks and have two large bins loaded with all of it......and I live in the woods. LOL
You guys saw my last house....it was in the woods too!
I should have sold them at the yard sale but me thinks some may be restricted by law and I probably shouldn't have them so I thought better than to set them up next to Kerry's junk.

Anyway, we had a spectacular day so we did leaves and mow, good times but I'm pooped!

I thought it was a typo in your last post about it, but it made me smile 😊

I'm just imagining what it's like coming from a warzone and experiencing people letting off loud fireworks. The ones I heard on Saturday night because I opened a few windows whilst I was cooking were over the top

Another fantastical day!

Mom deer is napping in the yard at the bottom of the hill this morning.

The poor county guys are removing a tree in the road that fell last night....using a 10" electric chainsaw. I don't want to embarrass them but look at the tree:

It doesn't look like a 10" saw is going far. We don't have a lot of rocks on the Eastern Shore....but we do have a lot of bricks. LOL God bless -em, we all have to eat.

That deer is camouflaged. Southend have been trimming the trees this morning and it seems to be okay with the wildlife.

I'm a bit late posting today, but hope you're all having a good day.
I've been out and about and then spent ages trying to find out why my laptop screen is flickering and downloading various updates which could be causing it. I don't know if it's solved it, I may have to ask my nephew to check it. It's handy having a computer technician in the family.

My hospital appointment for my eye problem will be on the 15th so that they can take more detailed photos and see what's going on behind these 👀 of mine.

It's time for me to hit the hay now so nos da from me and take care.
