I've read that it takes 2-3 years for a lot of dogs to settle down. That was for Shih Tzu but I think it was for larger breeds also. They are puppies longer so it makes sense.
And I welcome visitors with open arms. My puppy stays up their butts instead of mine until they leave.😉 he even cries and makes them think he can't live without them if they do. 🙃As soon as they're gone he looks at me 😭 and I know I'm in for it.🤒

How can you be a lounge lizard with Mr Fre around Cathie?

Natrah
Well yes I do have to watch him like a hawk 😭 but he's so little it doesn't matter. Even when he's ricocheting off the walls we're in the same room 😉 and he's actually a good boy sometimes. He'll go into his pet end table " kennel" when he's been bad willingly. It's hilarious. He must think the dirty deed was worth a little rest 😜

I was tempted to admit what I did to Chase many years ago. He was a purebred Siberian husky. I knew what worked with horses since a childhood friend has horses. Lol when the movie Snow Dogs came out several years later, my kids got to watch Cuba Gooding Jr do the same thing as their dad did, with the same positive result. I was tempted to admit it but I was picturing Y chasing down that Dobbie to get a lock on his ear.. . Sorry Y, it wasn't a pretty picture so I refrained from admitting it. LOL

For all of you LIDL shoppers out there, big sale on fresh whole turkeys this week. We purchased a 13 pound bird for $5.00 !
Wow! Unfortunately our LIdl here has different sales. Plus, no whole turkeys until closer to Christmas (since we don't celebrate thanksgiving here and turkey is fairly rare here anyway).
