Good morning/afternoon all.
I spoke too soon about the flooding - most of my town is under water 😢. Luckily it hasn't reached my street which is on slightly higher ground, but it's so sad to see all the small shops and businesses on the high street affected especially so near to Xmas.
Our old bridge has been damaged, by a fallen tree in the water. It's hundreds of years old so we're all hoping it survives.

We've had almost 48 hours of heavy persistent rain and it's still falling. It's supposed to ease up in a few hours time, but will take weeks for everything to dry out. 😟

I've been for a walk to see if any displaced hedgehogs were wandering around lost, but didn't spot any. Hopefully they will have made their way to higher ground as the water level rose. 🙏 I'll go out again later

I hope you're having a drier and less eventful Sunday. TTFN

I've caught snippets of the program as I'm surfing, and it never impressed me enough to stay there and watch.
I've never been a Doctor Who fan, the daleks used to terrify me. Most of it is filmed in Wales so I sometimes watch it to try to spot the locations near me, but I don't really like any sci fi.

When I was teaching in special education, long ago - I decided to take my small red plastic clockwork Dalek to school one day, to show the children. I had a little boy in my class who was totally non-verbal -when I brought out the toy onto the table, he started laughing - I pressed the voice button, and it said "Exterminate, exterminate" - and straight away, the little boy said "Exterminate, exterminate"-quite clearly !
His first ever actual words !!
Possibly not the first ones his parents would have liked to hear - but it was a start, after all.

I attempted to electrocute a ground hog but even 12amps of 120v didn't get his attention a couple years ago.

Dr Who....i watched long enough to see 2 doctors but I don't remember who they were....get it? Its actually well written Y if you can get past the overly campy props.

Ray should be in happy land today...he was getting his pain blocker this week I think.

Big weather for Ms Cathie and Lyn.....hang in there guys and don't be grouchy old ladies, ask others for help if you need it!

Saw that 10 point buck again today....
Prancer( a yearling) walked into the yard followed a few minutes later by "10 Point". The stance Prancer got when he or she saw him was different than any pose I have seen till now. He or she was leaned way back, like "WHOA". 10 Point didn't bother it. Cool to watch
My lower back injections are tomorrow Monday. I hope I get some relief. It will be one pain relieved for awhile.

It's calmer here Jeff although there is a warning about wind. I believe Angie had snow and my friend in Scotland had blizzards. What's it like where you are Edward? Wish I could see a buck Jeff.

Natrah
I could show you the buck. My granddaughter shot on opening day. The last time I showed a picture here of a dead deer. I got some push back. Which I totally understand.

Dear Ray,

I'm afraid I would be upset to see a dead one. Anyway I hope your injections go well.

Yeah, you are brilliant, my friend, we all know that. Hugs.
Yes I am especially when I'm not in the mood to get off my butt and do something.🤪 I managed to think my way out of lighting the furnace until I had my coffee ☕ that's brilliant all day long 😁 and I didn't even get too cold to boot 😊

It's not painful at all. Unless the doctor hits directly on the nerve. When Rose has the injections done. She uses anesthesia, I just have a local shot to numb up things.
I wish they would do that with me because I'm nervous about a shot in my back. Usually that kind of stuff doesn't bother me but I have to admit I am. It's my back and I'm small. I've had too many medical mishaps happen to me because of that.

@Ray--Opo send me the 2 pictures, and do you want the same cover or do you want a

I totally understand. When I posted my granddaughter with a deer a few years ago. Some of the members didn't care for it. I wasn't thinking about that when I posted.

Ask if you have the option for anesthesia.

God bless pain meds Ray! LOL Well, as long as you don't get carried away with them. The Redskins team Dr prescribed me 100- 10mg Vicodins when I trashed my knee at a tryout. A week later I was back for more. That was an eye opener!

2 of Kerry's nephew's are here, they stopped on their way home from University of South Carolina. They said they will get out early...around 9 or 10
I couldn't stop laughing.
