Good afternoon everyone!

Angie and Lyn what's the weather like where you are because it's dreadful here. I was out in a hailstorm earlier!

Natrah
Hi Natrah,
It's been dry but very cold for most of the day but since about 5.30 we've had sleet/frozen rain. I think the temps will stay low over the weekend but looks like it will be dry again. I've read that the north of the UK and your corner have a yellow health warning for extreme cold for the next few days. Best to stay home in the warm if you can but if not wrap up well!

Dear Cathie,

I forgot to say that I had to go out and teach in a second hailstorm in the afternoon!

Natrah
Sorry I laughed. It's too much like me 😭. The weather will be good until I have to get out for an appointment...it seems like mother nature has it in for me too.

We're supposed to have freezing rain tomorrow in the afternoon. Since the roads are still warm it's not supposed to stick much. The temps are going to stay above freezing through the day. That'll help.

Dear Cathie,

How is it today? Are you able to take Mr Fre out at all?

Natrah
I haven't wanted to even stick my nose out the door. So Mr Fre has been stuck too. He's such a small dog he's potty trained to a puppy type litter box. His little paws would 🥶 🥶 🥶 🥶 too. So nooo 😰🥶🤕It's been in the low 30's f all day. We've been having fun hanging out at home. Im baking butter jewel cookies. Mr Fre is storing up energy sleeping. I'm just waiting around for the next assault of belly rubs and play time.🙃😊

I baked thumbprint butter cookies today. I love this recipe. It's so simple. I found it the first time in a girl scout cookie recipe book. I love Google because I found the recipe even though I lost the cookbook years ago.

Those look delicious! Kerry stole one of my home made CC cookies while I was napping so she baked a new tray to put it back. I woke up and caught her this afternoon! Diabolical!

We get out last night and this morning before the snow/sleet came for walks around the neighborhood. It was 28F out but the air was still so it was nice. The tide was very low down at the water and the deer were in a hurry to get wherever.

I put a electrical totaling meter on the power to my shed so I can see what that dehumidifier is using in terms of KW. Hung up the sliding screen door in the garage b/c it blocks our view and we won't need it till summer. I had it leaning against the house, this is better. 2 rope loops and 2 hooks installed by her son to hang the kayak on. Simple and out of the way.

I'm trying my best to follow Drs orders and bake cookies often. He told me to eat ice cream and 2 cookies and call me in the morning 😋

Good morning all.
It's only about 05.30 here but I've woken and can't get back to sleep.

My car has yet another big problem. I think something to do with the front axle has broken.😟

I was going to drive it yesterday, but it won't move and there is a grinding noise if I try. I think the off side ( drivers side) looks as if it's dropped too.

I'm going to call the RAC breakdown people out , they won't fix it but hopefully they'll jack it up to to check and tow it to the garage I use. If it is, thank goodness I wasn't driving it at the time.

I wonder if it's been hit by another car while parked outside my house. Opposite me is a no parking zone with yellow lines but sometimes they are ignored which makes it very difficult for cars to negotiate the junction. I've been bumped before but of course, no one stops to own up. I may try an insurance claim but they'll try their best not to pay when nothing's definite.

So yet more expense and hassle I could do without.

I don't think it's that keeping me awake though, sometimes I just seem wide awake at daft times. I'll try again now though.
Hope you're all having a better night.

Watching the Halftime show.......I must just be a boomer.......it is simply lost on me. LMAO
Superbowl I presume? No idea what the halftime show involved but if it was anything to do with rap (with a silent c) that would have been my cue to head to the loos and stay there till it was over.😃
