You guys will never believe it....I got sick, like a for-real illness! I haven't gotten sick since I was a kid!

Even covid only made me feel bad for about 5 minutes.

I've been sick for 2 days! Coughing, runny nose low grade fever and all! I even went to the Dr yesterday.

Wow!


PS...how come men turn into such wussies when we get sick?

It sucks don't it. I have to say I whine the whole time too though. It doesn't do much good for me though. The only other person in the house is Joe and he never listens to a single word I say! I know he has a good excuse somewhat sense he can't hear but that doesn't help him a bit. He has eyes. If I'm not in a body cast it won't make sense to him. So I don't get fed chicken soup or anything special

Sapphire got to be outside again today. Nice summer days are finally here. I was still hesitant to take him out because he's been so hard to find to bring him in. It's been a hide and seek game on steroids the last few days in the late afternoon. Today I was able to spot him immediately. So I no longer have PTSD about my tortoise

I am not a manwussy, but I played one last week.

It's ok because I already tease Kerry for years about being my Wife-mom.

She is an excellent Wifemom too!
I had to push through yesterday. My bike project had been stalled several days while I pissed and moaned about everything. I got it wrapped up yesterday while texting with Ray in Florida. He's good motivation for me.

The real motivation is this. Kerry ordered new runner rugs for the kitchen and a new area rug for the living room.
I get the old ones to put under my little car and bikes in the garage!

Get well soon Jeff. I haven't got a bug or anything but I am recovering from a 3 hour and 15 mins rehearsal followed by a 2 hour and 15 mins concert and my left shoulder has an extra concert. The concert went very well and I thought of our friends over the pond when performing Rodeo!

I was so short and mean with Kerry yesterday.....i have some points to makeup. You guys probably go through this with a sick loved one but it's new territory for me.

We dosed me up to hide that i was sick to go get a CTscan of my chest Fri and the results are on Mychart but they won't scare me there so those results will likely stay there unless the Dr calls.

When my pulse-ox hit 89 I called my ex and put her on speakerphone so Kerry could be included. My ex is a very accomplished nurse and I appreciate her talent. She assured Kerry and walked her through how to be sure she ends up wealthy by slow-timing any reaction to my condition crashing. Wait, WUT??

LMAO it was pretty funny but made it harder to breath while laughing.

When I was completing the bike project I secured the fuel lines and i felt a little "wet" on my fingers.....moved them to my face and couldn't smell a thing. 10 minutes later it dawned on me.. I can't smell or taste. Wow....i detected"salts" by lastnight but I stuck my face in the peanut butter jar and got zero....zero! I'm sure it's only temporary...hoping so.

Recovery....here it comes!

Sounds like a strain of COVID Jeff. That's still lurking about, but doesn't cause panic and dread anymore. It could take a while for your senses to recover. Make sure you follow the Doc's and wife club orders!
