Thanks. I need all the hopeful thoughts I can get. The recovery is what I'm concentrating on the most. I have to do two different eye drops 4 times a day for a week then 1 twice a day for 3 more weeks. Then with Joe's 4 different eye drops 3 times a day at the same time I'm going to be half nuts with eye drops and I'm old and forgetful at times. 🤞 So that'll be an issue. Plus I'm not supposed to bend over with my head down. I have animals how am I supposed to not do that. They're shorter than me. They have food and water bowls at their height. But it was that same doctors orders after I broke bones in my face and guess what. I got through it just fine and I had to bend over. So after tomorrow I should be able to be on my way to better sight. I'm grateful for that.
I'll be thinking of you Cathie.
Could you set alarms on your phone to remind you when to use the drops? I know some people do that when taking other medications.

Dear Cathie - I shall be thinking of you a lot tomorrow, and hoping all goes well. It will be my turn soon, I hope, and it will be so very reassuring to know someone who has been through it all.
Love and best wishes from Angie xxxxxxxxxx
Good luck for your appointments Angie. Sounds as if you have a visit to a torture chamber tomorrow but I hope it works for you.

I made my dentist appointment this morning which I can't have until the middle of August because you can't have a check up less than a year since your last. 🙄
Sod's law though - about an hour later I lost either a bit of filling or tooth. Thankfully no pain yet and I hope it stays that way with the next 2 months. 🤞

I've got my filling tomorrow as well @Lyn W.

Yes I'm thinking of doing that. I already have one set for Joe's afternoon drops. I also set one when I take Sapphire out so I don't forget he's outside. My alarm sound is a rooster crowing so my house is going to sound like a barnyard. Oh wait it almost is 😄

On the mend yesterday Superman got in trouble from Wonder woman.
She didn't get it.
"Sick" really was new to me.
I HATED IT so I decided not to be sick anymore.
Kerry got really mad when i knocked out a few chores while she was out.
I cleaned the garage floor
Powerwashed 3 outdoor rugs
Started one very badazz motorcycle

By the time Kerry remembered whom she married, she got onboard and opened the new area rugs/padding we got last week but hadn't unrolled yet. Living room and 1st bdrm look great! I love 100% wool rugs.....with 1/2" of good padding it will feel scrumptious

Just saw Rocky going home but I didn't see her 2 kids. Maybe they've moved out already from their new home. Night cam caught both of them playing in the yard a week or so ago but I haven't seen them during the day. Mom deer with the new fawn became a Daycare provider when she was corraling TWO fawns this morning. I guess she turned into the Den mother! Cool.

My son is visiting today....last time he was here it cost him a 5 series BMW when it was totalled on his way home. He wasn't hurt but still.

Enjoy the day guys.....and thanks Ray for keeping my head in the game over the past few days....i was getting pretty worried....the texts were motivating.
I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. It's maybe harder on someone that rarely gets sick...but just think maybe you got some natural immunity to something that was necessary.

Cataract surgery is weird but not really hard. The only thing that got on my nerves is the light sensitivity afterwards. I had to wear sunglasses in the house even. But now I just have my shield on and I can already see a difference in my sight. I can actually see color better. I'm thrilled because I missed that a lot.

Great news Cathie! It will all be worth it in the end.

I don't Natrah, and I'm not looking forward to the heatwave that's on its way with temps almost 30C (low 80sF). I won't be venturing far in that heat. What about you?
I'm more used to it after having lived in Malaysia but then Malaysian houses are built for it! However Jacky has been very active foraging, climbing and digging with cataracts and arthritis in her left hind leg!!!!! I hope to be like this at 89!!! How is Lola?

Seen on our bike ride today....the largest Mimosa tree I've seen, it must be 60-70 ft tall.. The house is a rancher.

Then we saw these guys chilling out in someone's yard...you have to zoom to see the pair of fawns.

My living room is 81°f right now and I'm totally comfortable. I baked some salmon for dinner and it's done, so it'll cool off eventually. I have the air conditioner running. But the point is if you had to live in those temps now and then they wouldn't be so hard on you now. Our summer months can easily be in the 90's . I hope the high temps don't last long for you

Lola is good thank you, and enjoying the sun, although a few days ago he didn't leave his hide at all and didn't eat anything. Next day he was right as rain again. I don't know what that was about 🤷
