Oh screw that! We had 57-58f yesterday. I was beginning to wake up, like Matt the turtle!
It's ok N, Ray knows that he's much better looking than me. That's why i tease him....to help get his head out of his bum when the intrusive thoughts sneak in. Well that and the fact that he is the only friend I have that can't catch me. It makes me brave!

The call was perfect timing. I needed to take my mind off of a few things at that moment.
I hate to brag but it's 54°f here and actually reached about 58 earlier today. Tomorrow Mr Fre gets to play with his friend Charlie. It's supposed to be in the 60's with a chance of snow in the morning. This aughta be another fun rollercoaster ride. I wish I could teach Mr Fre how to pick up his toys.

A rough 24 hours. I was up all night then flu symptoms showed up at 4am. All my joints hurt, i was HOOOT and my nose was setting land speed records. I took 2
Motrin and a Zertec and installed the wire around the inside of the garage and opened my tub. Do you older guys remember the stereotype of the Chinese folks? Being sneaky and cheating at everything? It turns out that my American made hot tub was actually a Lovia tub built in China. While i found it to be well built with glued and clamped pressure lines and good quality pump, filter and heater, they lied about the insulation package which can be worth several hundred dollars.
This is not "full foam", it's R1 foil. Sneaky sneaky!
Thankfully i saw this before starting it up. A trip to Lowe's for a couple of rolls of insulation will get it right but this is why stereotypes exist.. . they are constantly being reaffirmed! LOL

dang it. But Good job! Sick and decrepid but got po ddd enough to figure it out you'll get it.
Time to start up a conversation with the company you bought the tub from, politely and tactfully read them the riot act...WTHeck
This all of course after you fell better. Hope you shake the bug soon.
I'm still fighting this. Yuck...jeff is sore.
1. Sierra Spa didn't answer their phone last month when i called with a question.
2. Nothing will cause them to change. No State AG is going to do a thing to force them either and they know it. They will claim translation errors.
3. I do believe that I have a good value for what i shelled out despite this discovery.
4. The only thing to gain by a win is $ already spent. This isn't a good motovator for me if past experience is examined.
So if all else is well a good honest review might help someone from this path.
All in all its an experience ...I'm trying to keep things chill. Like I said...im happy that I have excellent access to any of the parts, it's cavernous under there!
75 bucks fixes it to my specs, and I can pack that puppy up! Including the 4 guys that set in on the deck and the wire& disconnect I'm under 6k.
Master Spa wanted 12k for the same thing and were such primadonnas that they were going to make me beg them to sell one to me. I told you this industry is a scummy one!
i also recognize and hope others do too the fact that had this occurred at a different point in my life I would be handling very differently! I would have killed someone...maybe 2 someone's.

It was -24 c in the morning, that is -11,2 F. The birds enjoying my father's feeding station really need their calories to stay warm.
I think that more in the north they broke a new record for this winter, -42 c. That is pretty much the same in Fahrenheit if I remember right, got to look it up.

I was in recovery all day today. My shoulders hurt so bad from pulling heavy wire and I'm still achy so a good day to rest.
This afternoon I cajoled Kerry into driving to Delaware to go to Lowe's to get what I need to wrap up my project. BRILLIANT MOVE, at 5:15pm we were in the main aisle in the store and from one end of the store to the other there was NOBODY there! Got our stuff....now i can't sleep. dang.

It got up to 70°f here today. By Sunday it's supposed to drop to the low 30's. So we're on the downward slope now
