Today I got a shot of evinity in each arm. After that I picked up my new reading glasses from the eye doctor. That was a nice reward for not crying and punching someone after getting stabbed twice. Evinity shots hurt. Tomorrow Mr Fre gets a bath and scalped again. I won't know him ๐Ÿ˜ญ I really hope he doesn't bite his groomer though ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿคž he's been really finicky with me. He probably won't. I'm the only one he thinks he controls ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜œ
Alfie is a nightmare when it comes to grooming especially if you go anywhere near his tail - he needs a muzzle for that end. He doesn't mind his tummy being brushed and rolls over for that but anywhere else has to be done in short sessions. I did give him a bath when he was here and he was pretty quiet for that but I think he was in shock that I had the audacity to soak him! ๐Ÿ˜€ He's quite happy to be dried off with a towel.

Mr Fre was good today again for his groomer. He's always had the same one so far. I was lucky to find her. She must be really good with animals because he doesn't fight her a bit. I watched through the window and he just let her take over.๐Ÿ˜ŠHe's scalped ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Š

Hey C, you didn't actually watch that either huh? It's ok, the MSM didn't either or they chose to ignore the "too bad we can't" part. It was a hypothetical remark. Yes, I pay attention and i actually watched it! LOL it's a little fun to disagree with a smile right?

Best that you are looking at your retirement finances now N
Scary stuff isn't it? Not knowing for sure that we won't be forced into eating cat food or some other horrible existence. I am very happy to see it is beginning to make sense for you. I was terrified too!

I get a small pension from the Plumbers Union and in the US we have Social Security which is funded via deductions from our pay over our entire careers but the amount received is only based on the last 35 years of work.

I also have a retirement savings account that we call a 401k. It's basically a self funded account which is untaxed until you withdraw from it. It will be enough.

It sounds like you have multiple income streams which will serve you well in the future.

The other thing is to try to plan to pay much less in taxes! In other words, because I can regulate how much I withdraw each month from my 401k account, I can plan to be just under the income level where we would be taxed at 22% threshold. You may have a similar situation over the pond.

Ok....yesterday Kerry turned 60 and is now officially the oldest girl i ever dated! I gave her a birthday card and in it i promised that her rate of $9.99 would never go up, nor can she ever be cancelled.

We dropped off the tax docs on Tuesday to get our taxes filed. Yesterday I get an email from them telling us we are getting back several thousand dollars. My 1st thought was " Dang, he copied Kerry".

Any husband reading this will know what i felt. LOL

It's just that wives are like black holes to money......it gets sucked in if it gets anywhere near the event horizon!
Ok what did I forget to watch? ๐Ÿ˜œ Now I have to just for GP ๐Ÿ˜Š

Ooh I have to get baking something too. I might do bunny shaped sugar cookies and no bakes this year ๐Ÿ˜Š. It would look something like this ๐Ÿ‡ ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ˜Š. Yours look so yummy and pretty. What kind of cake are they?
When my nephew's and nieces were younger I used to make them Easter nests using melted bars of Cadbury dairy milk choc with broken up shredded wheat in them. They would be shaped into little individual nests with a few Smarties in the centre for the eggs or sometimes the mini eggs depending on how many I had to make. It became a tradition and they were so popular they evolved into larger sized birthday cakes shaped into flowers or rugby balls etc. and even bottles. I even made a Yule log one xmas Now I only make them on request.
No baking is involved just a fridge to cool and set them in the moulds and they are pretty yummy I must say.

It's injections for osteoporosis monthly for 1 year because your regular medication isn't working. Then you go back to regular maintenance ๐Ÿง injections of something or other ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ˜Š
Once a month, I could take that. I've been on generic Fozamax. Once a week, first thing in the morning, and no food for 30 minutes after. That's Hard .. . . NO COFFEE for 30 minutes after I get up....Arg!
Most of the similar drugs (can 1/10,000) attack the lower Jaw Bone, and I have dental problems.

Those sound fun to make. ๐Ÿ˜Š My friend Heather and I are playing with melted chocolate right now. We're doing a baby shower in May together with homemade stuff. Chocolate is on the menu anyway. Shredded wheat sounds as good as rice crispys if not better as an addition. The baby will be another great grandchild for me and adopted grandchild for her.๐Ÿ˜Š

I have dental issues also and refused to take fozamax because of it. It does too. They all have that warning though. The evinity shots can cause heart attack or stroke also. But I have so many worse issues with my bones I'm doing it. I only have 6 to go.๐Ÿ˜Š

Thanks N, i will convey your wishes to Kerry. I don't know if Ray saw the launch from his house but we were talking on the phone about it after the launch but im not sure if he saw it in person or on tv.

You gals deal with SO much more "body stuff" than we guys have to. You guys do take care of yourselves which im happy to see!
(Thank you Lord you make me sing
All because you gave me a "thing")

Sorry, couldn't resist. Kerry is very much a tomboy so teasing her is especially fun.

I put out hummingbird feeders yesterday. I also "tested" the trailer- hitch basket I borrowed from my doctor. Both bikes fit into it when folded. It's a huge basket! This is Kerry's Little Red Bike. It frees up that much space inside!

Yesterday was "get off my butt day"
1. Well pressure switch under the house needs to be exchanged with the new one I have.
2. Kerry's car oil& filter.

Well, I didn't get everything done.

Today is Easter Sunday it will pour all day when we have folks over for Easter dinner. A smorgasbord of a dozen or so unrelated people.
A couple from the neighborhood, a little family, a few friends. It's the best dinner you will ever host! Promise! This is the human experience and it's really special.

Happy Easter guys for those that celebrate and enjoy the day for you heathens that dont! LOL

That reminds me. It's time for me to put out the hummingbird feeder too. I saw robins in February so I'm sure hummingbirds will be here sooner.
