Dang MG, that's the stuff character is made from....enduring the BS!

My well saga has come to a close. Ben the Well man came out and was just as baffled as I was....Sweet Vindication! Of course the submersible pump needed replacement. He switched them, set my desired pressures to 47-70psi. The pump was only 30 feet down or so. He was done inside 90 minutes from the time he arrived.
He came, he saw, he charged!
$2400 (cash or check only)all in for a 3/4hp pump...in case you are curious. I am very happy to pay the man for his work and all that I gleaned from him. In truth, i learned enough that i will never need to call again but being old and lazy, i probably will call.

So the past 2 weeks taught me again;
The Lord givith and the Lord taketh away.

Remember that tax refund? 😆

Enjoy the day guys!
Well (Pun intended) Jeff , that $2400 is peace of mind you are paying for, I'm sure you got a multi year warranty for the future, and while you DID get vindication, I personally would have preferred to be wrong for a $1000 less;)🧐 🤪

Got a surprise at work. My buddies most excellent baker of wife had an accident at work. She was delivered a box of pastry dough that was not on the precribed beuractric food menu and it could not be returned to the supplier so cinnamon scones for work friends and home were created. Luckily it takes an act of congress to add a food item to the menu since it is programmed to check against food flags for patients.

We each get lessons in character building differently don't we? LOL
I'd still rather cut the check than deal with the MVA all day though...and still have to cut a check!
Crying would be an option if i wasn't laughing so hard, right?

Kerry and i are both very thankful each day......things could be and are, much worse for many folks. I know it and i see the same on this forum. Most of us here are exceptionally fortunate to have such a great outlook on things even when we're broke.

Ray hasn't been feeling well over the past few days. Breathing stuff. I don't usually put someone else's stuff out there but i appreciate that you guys worry about him. He called me back yesterday so I could tell him about my well stuff since he's to blame for the misdiagnosis. See how I blame him? He's not here, can't defend himself. I take no prisoners. LOL

He's doing much better now btw....

The good Lord provided. He saw a need and you got the gift of knowledge to boot. 😊I always drive those people crazy too watching them 😉 asking questions or just watching...you know how that goes. I never think I'll be doing it though if I can help it. . I'll just know if it's being done right.🧐🤔😉😁

I'm not so sure I'd always know what "doing it right" looks like. I mean if I watch a brain surgeon doing a procedure will I know whether he is doing it correctly LOL NO MS Cathie, we sometimes watch just because we can!

OK, I have the fireplace lit downstairs while the AC in on in our bedroom. Kerry is sleeping very soundly so I don't want to turn it off but it was 67F downstairs! Yikes!

I see the stupid folks haven't felt enough American iron yet i suppose. I remember standing on principle once when i shouldn't have. Of course I didn't get shellac'ed in front of the entire world but I certainly got my bum beaten up. BUT I stood strong...i hope they do to with the same results..LMAO. Not shedding a single tear for them. Karma is just late in visiting them.

Kerry's sister stopped by yesterday on her way to DC from upstate NY. They talk every day so it's nice she came by for a couple hours.

My hip/back is much worse. I treated with ICE( why does spell check now insist on capitalizing "ice"??) and Tens unit. The tens unit helps a little but I whined all day after walking around the very small farmers market we have in Chestertown. This is a tough one. Lots of pain and agony.
I can't work on Matt's new home and it's next on the list finally. Well Kerry isn't going to become Bob the Builder overnight so maybe Matt ought to stop giving me the stink-eye and give me a few days to recover. LOL Is anyone else's turtle up at 3am? We are!

Well, with my group of way fairer's, anything is possible. Seymour's bedding spot is a corner of the bird room (Front room) with a heating pad. occasionally he will wake up in the middle of the night and start to wander. Birds are terrified by tortoises by nature, they start to freak when one gets near. fortunately Seymour doesn't know this and doesn't bother them. But in the middle of the night they will start screaming that there is a Boogie Man wandering the house . So, I have to get up and put him in a tub, in the kitchen with a towel over him so I can try and go back to sleep.
Then Last Night . . . The Gander (male goose) in a kennel in my bed room started freaking out about 2:30am, he was causing such a ruckus that the Goose was terrified, the gander was hissing, like there was a threat, I got up to see if Seymour was wandering, but he was still asleep. I separated them, so she could sleep peacefully, and the gander continued to be a ruckus for an hour.....Not much sleep, last night. Well I'm off to church, first service after Easter...
Have a wonderful day Friends

I've been having bad back issues too until this morning. The last three days I've been sleeping on my back. I think it's working maybe because I woke up pain free. It's the first time in months. We'll see. 🤗🙏 and yes it's just fun to soak all the knowledge in.😊

Yes birds are afraid of a tortoise. I think it's because their carapace has a pattern on it like a snake. They think a snake is about to eat their babies or eggs. I once had a dove waltz around my little Sapphire trying to figure it all out. It was pretty cute. Sapphire just sacheted around until the dove figured out everything is safe 😊
