We should all follow Edward's example:View attachment 399953
Yes, an interesting article. Being content is only part of being happy IMO but where you live makes a huge difference. We found that when we moved here, folks are different. Whereas my old neighbors were all about buying new boats, cars, RV's and talking about how much they spent. The folks here brag about how much they don't spend. These guys make what they have, work for them. They improvise and adapt better than most. It's a different world without the commercial BS. It's easy to think they do it because they are poor but then I find out that they own 200 acres outside of town.

Societies within a country can be very different from one another. If love to hear from 4TE on this....since its his country!

I enjoyed watching clips of the King and his wife( I can't call her queen as to me she's just a bottom-b*txh) as they toured DC. My hats off to our friends across the pond for an excellent tradition!

Another slow day here. I saw the chiropractor yesterday and he showed me 3 stretches that eliminated my hip pain. SWEET! I don't even have any drugs that work as well! LOL We have rain so it's a good excuse to be a bum.

My neighbor who installed his sprinkler system is now asking me about my lawn mowing robots. He's watched them cut our lawn for a couple of years and now he realizes how nice they work in the real world. The new ones go back and forth using GPS and have much newer tech than my "yard rumbas'. Good for him...

Good morning everyone!

Yes it's Queen Camilla and I can't forget Princess Diana either. I'd like to see your mowing robots as well.

Around here it got colder so Sapphire hasn't been able to go outside. Some days it's been in the 50's and 60's f. And overnight can drop to freezing. Yesterday I saw my first hummingbird. They said on the news that they were spotted in Ohio so I've had mine up for about a week. That's early so I had to Google what temperature they can survive because of the weather. They'll probably be safe from to long of torpor because they can withstand a little bit of freezing. And the days are getting warmer.

I put ours up 4/1 after someone posted they saw one here. I didn't see one till the day before yesterday! Also saw my 1st Pilated Woodpecker of the year today. He was attacking a tree stump so we got a great close view of him. Very cool.

Good morning Cathie,

Seeing a Hummingbird Bird would be heaven for me. What other birds do you get in your garden?
