We went to the Del bay yesterday just because it was a cool thing to do. What is this? Kerry wouldn't eat it.

The Bay is pretty nice when you can't see the Nuke plant's giant stack on the other side because of the haze.

I'm out on the porch this morning listening to the crows have an extended discussion. Beautiful sunny hot day. Went for a bike ride cause Kerry is at school helping. Saw a Northern brown snake enjoying a swim in the creek this morning but most are finding a cool place for the days expected mid 90's.

Hum, Nuke Stacks thru the haze, could be like Diablo Canyon on the coastline of San Luis Obispo, California. Back in August of 2025 it was to be shut down due to it's age, and the proximity to a Fault line.
But it life has been extended to 2030, and possibly 20 years more .
I guess they figured with the massive load AI is going to put on the "Grid" we will need all the energy we can get....
Eh, what could go wrong, I only live 240 miles away (385km)

I found out today that crows love to take an ant spa day. Hehehe

Guess who's back this year at the Nook?
Rocky Raccoon Mom come out of the owl box yesterday evening. She came out much smaller than she appeared to be last week when I saw her in the yard. She sat on top of the box cleaning herself. Kerry thinks there are BABIES in the box again. I love this stuff!

Half of our front yard under the crab apple tree has become a wild strawberry patch. I picked a few for Sapphire when I noticed it he loves them and gobbled all but 1. I don't dare turn him loose in it because he won't leave any for whatever else likes them

She probably has just begun coming out from her warm place you're providing and taking a walk . It's spring and time to get springy

Jacky is currently outside exploring the garden after yesterday's shenanigans in which she tipped the water tray as she buried herself under the carpet strips. The newspaper underneath was soaked and shredded by Jacky!
