It's 91Β°f and 56% humidity here and it's 7:30pm. It should cool off some πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ maybe tonight when the sun goes down. We might get rain if we're lucky 😊that will help even though the humidity will probably go up. πŸ™ƒ Hopefully some summer showers will linger around. Tomorrow is supposed to be another weather alert day for hot as heck πŸ₯΅

Been Cool around here, Cold, overcast mornings, sun comes out around 10, 11'ish. Karl is supposed to blow in tomorrow afternoon. For the 250th, SF is shutting down The Golden Gate Bridge for 90 minutes, and shooting off fireworks from the towers of the bridge and from a barge beneath it. With Karl's appearance we most likely will get "colored clouds".

Had to take a break from the clutch. For those in the know . . the top 2 bolts in the bell housing are NOT budging. I took a 1/2 air impact to one . . and it laughed at me :rolleyes:😀
Borrowed another 1/2 Air Impact from a friend, hope It has more, Oomph. Will Move air compressor closer (to use only air hose) and will buy One long 1/2 extension.
Push comes to shove, will see if I can drill a couple of holes through the fire wall to get a straight shot at the bolts, heaven forbid I round the heads off 😳
Hope everyone in the "States" have a Great, Safe 4thπŸŽ†πŸŽ‡

Love watching World Cup but after watching a couple clean games like the US match win the other day as well as the England win over DR Congo yesterday, I can't stand watching the "flopping" that some of the others engage in.

Tighten up Buttercups!
LOL

Toasty!
I've avoided all football matches which is quite an achievement - never liked the game. Most TV channels have been taken over by footy or Wimbledon this last week. I don't mind watching tennis but usually end up watching with the sound muted because of all the grunting - and that's just the women. πŸ˜„.

I'd never heard of Karl the Fog before, so thanks for the link. I hope it doesn't spoil the celebrations.

We've got another heatwave on the way towards the end of next week. 😞 It doesn't look like it will be as hot as the last on my side of the UK, but I think Natrah's corner will get higher temps than most.

Well well well..it seems like it's time for an acetone/diesel mix. Nothing works better outside of liquid nitrogen and I'm assuming you don't have any lying around. Warm it, warm the housing, NOT the bolts, pour a bit on each and capillary attraction will draw it in...let soak overnight then get the BFG impact on it. You got this!

.....actually it's been much worse today. There's been footy, tennis rugby, cricket and F1 on 8 channels. I ended up watching the rugby because Wales were playing Fiji in the new Nations Championship tournament and they won - so that wasn't too bad. 😊

It got up to 106Β°f in the back yard. Then it would drop. I had Sapphire outside so I debated about bringing him inside. It's been so hot for a few days. I finally decided to. I found him all the way under a great big clump of grass next to the floor of his enclosure. He was fine πŸ˜‰ I could have left him out for a little while longer.☺️ The heat wave has dropped a few degrees today though. It's only 87Β°f now in the front yard at 6:50pm. That's better than yesterday.πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

Not sure what you are working on. If it's a car, If you have a engine hoist. Take the motor mount bolts out and move the motor forward. You can get at the transmission bolts easier. Plus when putting back together you will even put the wire harnesse clip back on the transmission bolt. When doing from underneath it is tough getting the trans bolt thru the wire harnesse clip and then lined up with the hole to tighten down.
Ok @jeff kushner leave that last sentence alone. Get your mind out of the gutter 🀣🀣🀣

So the needles didn't put you to sleep Ray? Instead you are here causing trouble? Is that what we're doing now Ray? Sorry bud, if you were up at 3am you weren't sleeping.

We invited neighbors over for breakfast yesterday morning before it got hot. We had wanted to have a BBQ party but with 102F in deep shade forecast for again yesterday we just had breakfast. It was very nice but the hubby had to run home "for an anxiety pill". I was a little stunned that a man my age would admit he still can't handle life without meds but they are quite different politically than we are so the dots connected. I observe I don't judge folks. We had a nice time once he got back and we ate but the sausage sucked so as soon as i tasted it I called it out so no one else would feel bad for hating it too. Kerry had resurrected it from the depths of the freezer. Thankfully she made ham and bacon so we had backup!
The guy was given a fairly nice camper maybe 28 or 30 feet a few months ago and he took it out for a shakedown weekend a couple weeks ago. They are going to Harper's Ferry in a week so we talked about how he has his RV setup. I really hope they have a great time. They don't get to travel much so this is cool.

A early night last night. Thank you for the Birthday wishes from across the pond!

God superseded mans fireworks last night around here. By the time he was done at 10pm...so were we. Today will be cleanup time. I see at least 1-8" branch came down so that's not too bad. My neighbor had a nice big maple explode a few weeks back when it was struck by lightning. It superheated inside and actually blew up...a steam explosion. We just have a mess.

Enjoy the day guys!

PS MG, post up when you have slayed the dragons. Some of us are watching!

I have to add this.

We were watching the 250 Bash yesterday and Chicago played (3 original members still in the group) and the words finally make sense to me in retirement. They never did before...remembering that Mark taught me that every day is Saturday now.....

"Saturday, in the park
Every days the 4th of July"

Epiphany!
