Ive noticed that Carrots shouldnt be fed too often. why is this? my russian LOVES carrots. more than anything else. since ive read that i have given him any. Another thing i thought is can they eat radish? I also have some ReptiVite. can this be used?

Carrots and other vegetables contain a lot of sugar. You're better off feeding leafy greens and various weeds. Some people offer veggies more than others. I've only offered Nelson carrot once.

My russians get carrot once a month. They do like the radish tops.

Root veggies are USUALLY moderate/high in Oxalic acid too... which is why they should be an occasional food... carrots are though a good vit A food... i feed to mine once per month....
