Has anyone successfully grown crabgrass through plugs? My lawn is riddled with the stuff (my husband hates it) and I dug up 5 large plugs and put them in Tuleo's outdoor oasis (we never use pesticides/etc and haven't in the 15 years we have lived here.) I am just wondering if they will "take"... He LOVES the stuff!

Google is no help...lol. It's all about KILLING. THE. CRABGRASS.

I have not done this, but seeing it is pretty hard to kill, I see success coming to you.

My go-to method for growing weeds and cacti is just to water it once and then ignore it.

I think it will work. I do this with thistles. Keep it watered well. It might die a bit n come back.

I know, it sounds silly!
I feel crazy when I walk with friends at soccer practice, and my head is down looking for weeds!
I'm surprised you can buy clover from HD.
