So this morning when i was changing the water i accidentally splashed a drop onto the heat lamp. It didnt explode,, i didnt see any shards fly, the crack is small and seems pretty clean all throughout (i did change the lamp out btw). Should i be worried??photo_2025-09-20_14-16-47.jpg

Hello!
There is a tiny dent on the sleeve, so sand grain-sized piece of glass is somewhere in substrate.
If that's the only missing piece, I would not worry: odds of ingesting are very low.

Incandescent lamps don't have any hazardous substances inside, so substrate is not contaminated (in case with mercury-containing fluorescent lamps I would do a substrate change and more).
