Yep, he has been more active. He still passes some gritty urates once in a while. I am trying to add even more hydration by spraying his food as per Tom's recommendation. If that doesn't work, I might have to go back to daily soaks.
Bless him, I’m glad to here he’s been more perked up😊

The smaller piece isn't yet small enough for him to swallow. As you can see, this has been tracked in the substrate, again.
Zola used to be mad about cuttlebone when he was younger, and I must admit I never realised he could choke on it. Suddenly he stopped eating it at all, and never has done since. I got a special block of calcium for tortoises for him, and he ignores that too. Still,I tried !
