I use a calcium powder once a week mixed in with Mazuri and I leave a cuttle bone in my enclosures. Sometimes they really chow on them but usually not often. Sorry can't help with the soil cause I live in IL.

Can you buy organic soil anywhere? Lowes, Home Depot or garden centers?

I use the Kelloggs garden soil for all of my stuff. Works well for me and its cheap. I buy the big 3.0 cubic foot bags form Lowes or Home Depot.

I also leave cuttlebone in the enclosures too. They can munch on it at will.
