Can cuttlebone prevent pyramiding or help with MBD? Should I give it to them? How to give it and how much? I have one male about 7 inches and female about 10 inches . I can't find any trusted calcium supplement for a good price here in India. Can someone help me out?

Cuttlebone is a good calcium source. Just leave some in their enclosures and they’ll eat it when they feel te need.

Pyramiding is caused by tortoises being kept in too dry of conditions, not by lack of calcium.

MBD is related to lack of calcium but also to insufficient exposure to UVB rays.

If you are concerned your tortoise has either of these conditions you should post your question and some pictures of your tortoises and their enclosures in the subforum that is dedicated to star tortoises. You’ll probably get better feedback on their health than in the diet forum since those users all keep stars and have the most experience.
