Cuttlefish and calcium powder??

Hi since taking in my hermann, it has so far been a learning curve for him/she and myself.
On sunday I gave him/her a cuttlefish and he/she loves it.
Does he/she still need the calcium powder on the food??
I know that the powder includes extra vits etc so I'm wondering if I'm actually asking a ridiculous question!!

If your tort has access to outside and the correct diet, the cuttlebone should be all he needs. The torts seem to gravitate to cuttlebone when they need calcium and unlike vitamin enhanced powder, cuttlebone doesn't have a shelf life.

I have no set in cement rule, I take each animal's need into consideration. Factors like where did this animal come from, how well is it eating, how old is it, it's general condition, is it a female in breeding, ect..,

yea pretty much like 4-5 times a week (most 5 times)

I have taken Egyptiandans advice to give my hatchilings (greek) calcium daily for at least the first year of life. I give them pwdered calcium daily and have a cuttlebone in their pen also.

no problem but im not a pro (i learn from these guys they're awesome). i just started collecting 4 months ago so im a rookie...careful tortoises are addicting!
