If an adult its fine. needs to be at least 6" deep as they will burrow down to sleep. For babies fir bark in bulk or Reptibark (fir bark) from pert stores as it is smaller and handles moisture better.

Thank you so much! She is an adult and I'm thinking to have it 8 inches deep as she is quite the digger 😂
