Hello I'm a first time tort mom. I have a few months old cherry head. My question is what time of day is best for soaks? I work in office three days a week and leave before 7am. The times I'm soaking him before I leave he seems unhappy to be up early. Is it ok to do a soak when I'm off work at 4 or is that to long of a say without a soak. I would love all input as I want to keep my little guy as happy as possible.

I don't think it matters. I always soak while I'm preparing their food. Then when the food's ready so is the tortoise.

Hello!
It doesn't really matter, just stick to routine comfortable to both of you. One thing to consider is that they often poop in the water and when you skip a morning soak you may end with a water dish full of poo standing for the whole day.
